Approved by all.

COMMITTEES:
Horseshoe League Picnic was a success and Carol Leigh has the money.
Truck committee has been trying to get more information on the new tanker. Hoping to hear soon,
about the grant application.
Thanks to Joe Wiiki and Mike Kilmurray for mowing the ballfield at Van Riper Sports Park.
We need a new door for the pavilion, nearest the BBQ pit.
Need to check the burners on the big grill, as some holes appear to be restricted. Carol will call
Scott Smith and Sons in Owego.
APPLICATIONS of NEW MEMBERS: None
OLD BUSINESS: Rick Morgan inquired about the $100 from the pool filling detail. Joe Wiiki
spoke with Dick Weston, indicating that he has the money and will drop it off soon.
Discussed the issue of re-keying the station entry doors, not the Pavilion doors. We have many
keys (“A”, “B” and Master keys). Action is “put on hold” for now.
Mike has purchased new pads for the AED. It was suggested that we budget for a new AED.
Station siren and pager aren’t resetting properly. County is no longer supporting pager repairs.
NEW BUSINESS: Brief discussion was held about the idea of holding the Blue Grass Festival in
Speedsville, possibly starting out witha a one day event for next year. We will need some help to do this, perhaps
SCHA members, as we don’t have enough fire company members to do this event.
Station Generator needs to be serviced. Carol suggested having it done when her home generator
is serviced. 1st Carol Leigh 2nd Joe Wiiki Approved by all.
Ball Park cleanout- Lori wants to remove old fire hoses from Pavilion and recycle the metal
couplers. Rick Morgan mentioned that many hoses need to be repaired or scrapped out, rather
than remain in “unusable condition” at the station.
Reminder that the Budget Meeting will be held in 2 weeks on 9/23. Mike will send out a message.
President adjourned meeting at 19:47.
