SPEEDSVILLE VOL. FIRE CO., INC. MEETING MINUTES
13 SEPT 2021 Called to Order at 19:00 by President Michael Kilmurray
SECRETARY’S REPORT– Leanna Morgan read the minutes from previous meeting.Motion made to accept and approve. 1st Mike Kilmurray 2nd Approved by all.
TREASURER’S REPORT– Carol Leigh presented account status and list of bills for payment. Motion made to pay the bills, accept and approve accounts. 1st Lori Staba 2nd Joe Wiiki Approved by all.
CHIEF’S REPORT– Fire Chief Richard Morgan reported 1 Fire call mutual aid to Slaterville. Y-T-D 32 calls. He would like make a change to Tuesday night at 6:30 for training.
COMMITTEES:Carol will check with Blue Dolphin Restaurant for a banquet for this Fall.
COMMUNICATIONS– Northern Tioga ATV Club has donated money to us. Thank you!
NEW APPLICATIONS: None
OLD BUSINESS: We need to get a sanitizer tub for washing cooking utensils at Van Riper Park.
Rick Morgan reported the dry hydrant project for Fairbanks Pond on McGrath Rd, will be funded by the Town of Caroline and will cost between $1500- $2000.
NEW BUSINESS- Budget needs to be done by end of September, we need to schedule a meeting to work with the Board of Directors. Rick briefly discussed the need to improve our area for storing the Turnout Gear, perhaps needing to purchase a new rack or build a mobile unit..
Joe Wiiki thanked everyone for showing up tonight, as we have several people interested in the possibility of joining.
