13 JUNE 2022 Called to Order at 19:00by President Michael Kilmurray
SECRETARY’S REPORT– Leanna Morgan read the minutes from previous meeting. Motion made to accept and approve. 1st Ed Klopf 2nd Joe Wiiki Approved by all.
TREASURER’S REPORT– Carol Leigh presented account status and list of bills for payment. Motion made to pay the bills, move money from Savings to Checking accounts, accept and approve accounts. 1st Dick Weston 2nd Ed Klopf Approved by all.
CHIEF’S REPORT– Fire Chief Dicky Weston reported no calls- Y-T-D 10 calls. Training on Tuesdays at 18:30. Parades to be held in Candor on July 4th, Newark Valley on 30 July and Trumansburg on 27 Aug.
All trucks have been worked on and pump test performed by Har-Rob from Syracuse. Rick Morgan and Zeb Patterson drove 1701 and 1741 to the Tompkins County Airport for the pump testing.
COMMITTEES– Brandon Randall was selected for the Jason Lanning Scholarship award.
TURNOUT GEAR- Waiting for the quote for the 2 sets.
TRUCK REPLACEMENT– Dick to head the committee.
APPLICATIONS of NEW MEMBERS– Andrew Gilden.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS- Lawn needs to be mowed.
60th Anniversary this year, maybe do T-Shirts, perhaps a dinner event, at least update the website.
NEW BUSINESS- Horseshoe League annual banquet will be held on 20 Sept. Joe Wiiki is thinking about doing an Equalizer Tournament on 30 Sept.
